Your data, our mission

Do you have a product or a process that you want to track, measure, or surveil?

Our Industrial IoT-as-Service model ensures that you have a worry-free solution without dealing with IT operations and application management.

It all starts with your product or process and the data it produces. We connect to your system at the Edge and ensure a secure data stream into the IoT Cloud. In the last step, we create Applications that improve how you work.

Where the data origins

While IoT relies on the Internet to function, we still need to handle the data where it originates, on the Edge. It could be out in the field, in the sea, on the farm, or in the factory.

Edge computing treats data on hardware devices, that is, at the Edge of the network, rather than in the cloud itself.

Our Edge software can run on any hardware device.

Secure storage and connectivity

Whether you only have a few devices or millions, our IoT Cloud will handle data ingestion from devices anywhere in the world.

Built on top of Google Cloud Platform, the data are protected with industry-standard security protocols.

Our IoT Cloud supports MQTT and HTTP protocols and can be tailored to your needs.

Where you interact with your data

This is where you and your customer create the value. Built on top of state-of-the-art web technology, the Appfarm platform, our applications are available on your mobile, or on your laptop.

Use our applications internally or provide it to your customers. The style and the design of the application will be based on your branding.

Common Questions

Didn't find what you're looking for on the website, or do you have some more questions? No problem, here is a list of questions that we're getting commonly asked.

  • Where is the data of your Google Cloud saved?

The Data of our Google Cloud solution is saved in Europe and therefore underlies the European laws for data protection - something that is very important to us.

  • What happens if we want to stop working with you?

It's a shallow threshold to work with us because our developing time and costs for the app are so low. After developing the app, we're delivering our solution as a "Software-as-a-Service" (SaaS).

This makes it a shallow risk for your company to work with us as you can end our cooperation at any time - without having to ride off high initial investments neither in time nor in money.

  • What is Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and why is it important?

Software as a Service is a sub-area of cloud computing. The SaaS model is based on the principle that the software and IT infrastructure are operated by an external IT service provider (so to speak by us) and used by the customer as a service (you).

The advantage is that you don't have any high costs at the beginning of the project, and you can end the cooperation at any time. You don't have to worry about any updates or maintenance. We make sure that you have the latest and best solution at all times so that you get to focus on your core business. We scale up with you. If you're successful, we're successful.

  • Delivering applications in a week seems unrealistic?

Delivering customized applications in such a short time seems to be "too good to be true" for some companies as they're used to software projects always being expensive, complex, and taking many months - at least.

Working with "No code low code" solutions enables us to change that and deliver solutions fast - in less than two weeks.

  • What is Industrial IoT

The IoT (Internet of Things) or IIot (Industrial Internet of Things) is a network of devices that communicate with each other and provide data to users via the Internet. IoT devices can connect to the network and usually have sensors to collect data.

A single IoT device can be helpful, but it becomes even more valuable when you use many devices simultaneously.

  • Can we receive data from different type of sensors?

Yes, we can. It doesn't matter if you're using a traditional wired or wireless sensor like Disruptive Technologies, Omron, Meshtech, El-Watch, etc. We can work with all types of sensors - even if a customer uses a combination of different sensors to measure or track his product.

  • What is low-code or no code?

There are three ways to develop an app. You can work with "Off-the-shelf" solutions where the software is already developed and ready to use. Or you can build an app from scratch. Both ways have lots of pros and cons. "Low-code or no-code" is just another way to build an app. It combines the pros of the "Off-the-shelf" & "Building from scratch" solutions while eliminating the cons.

You're getting the best out of two worlds. "Low-code or no-code" solutions are building blocks that you can customize to your customer needs.

  • Can we use Azure or other Cloud providers than Google Cloud?

We recommend that our customers work with our Google Cloud system because it leaves us with the most options to deliver the best product for you - simply because the Google Cloud is the best-developed Cloud system on the market.

We can easily pull data from your cloud systems into ours if you're already working with a different cloud within your company. However, some of our customers have company compliance that doesn't allow them to work with any other cloud solution than their own. This is not a problem for us, and we can easily work with any cloud solution of your choice and leave Google Cloud entirely out of the process.

  • Why choose us and not other solutions?

Sometimes we wish that we would have more competition on the market. Our biggest challenge often is to explain to potential customers the need and benefits of our solutions.

Since Industrialization 4.0 is still a pretty new thing, most companies only begin to explore the options of using digitalization to their advantage. Many of them are not even aware of the opportunities to make their business greener, safer & more efficient through using IoT. To explain, that is our biggest challenge.

We haven't seen any company on the market yet that can deliver solutions to a price, in a time and in the quality that we do. So we don't fear any competition.

  • Can you connect your applications to an ERP system?

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is the integrated management of your primary business processes.

We can bring the IoT data into your ERP system!

"Digitread Connect approached the project with unbelievable enthusiasm and commitment. We were able to see successes quickly. The further development of the app also proceeded rapidly. Digitread Connect delivered in a daily rhythm. We were delighted with the cooperation."
